Note I am now
turning down link requests where I see the following:
Your main site and your link site are two different names such as
www.yourdomain.com is your home page but your link page is
www.anothernamealtogether.com. I am seeing this a lot lately. So don't request a
link if your home page and your link pages have completely different names. (I
think some people are using link directories that are hosted on another domain
to get one way links to their main site. I don't do that and I won't accept a
link from that sort of site. I want to see a directory of links with the name
www.yourdomain.com/directory) Also I want to find my link easily. For example
if you put a link on my site your link is ONLY TWO CLICKS from my home page. My
visitors only click on directory then the alphabetical category to find your
link here. I've been on too many sites where I have to click five or six times
to find my link on your site. So do not submit a link if your link directory is
buried under more than three clicks.
Okay if you've already placed a
link to my site on your link directory then now it's time to fill out
the form. Please fill this in completely, if something is left undone,
the location of link for example, I will not come looking to you to find
the answer. The additional information block is for any other
information you feel that I need to know, it is not a required field.
